Reviews
Through the years, I've been to Eastern Paradise at least 25x. I primarily go to the bar area but sometimes the main dining area is better as far as getting a table & cleanliness. I cannot speak to the possibility of improvements in the bar area as of recent, but a handful of times there would be employees eating at the high tops for their break, mop & bucket in the middle of the floor, dirty tables, stuff everywhere...essentially it's a mess in the bar. It's almost like they don't have enough people to clean up when patrons leave. The bar top tends to be sticky. It is still a very attractive part of the restaurant. With the U-shape bar being so large, they can seat a lot of people. The takeout process has never failed. I find that there is always someone at the counter to greet you. They tend to be spot on with how long the order will take to be picked up. They package the food well. Their sushi is still some of the best I've had. It's enjoyable to watch it be made if you get a booth by the sushi bar. It's such an art. Always fresh ingredients. My parents go here 3 to 4x a month & have become regulars with Al (one of the owners?) at the bar. The bartenders already know what they want to order for food & drinks so most of the time they go ahead & put it in to the kitchen & get their drinks going. My husband & I will sometimes meet up with them there & as soon as they walk in, it's like they're celebrities, haha! Such a great place, whether dining in or out. Hopefully they've been maintaining the bar better as far as the mess is concerned. I would like to branch out & try something else on the menu instead of always having sushi.
Great sushi sashimi combo plate - what a surprise in Rochester NH of all places the server was also very friendly
The service was great and the food came out fast. But we were very disappointed in the crab Rangoon, they were stale tasting. But the miso soup and rolls we ordered made up for it. I really loved the sweet potato roll; simple but delicious. Our favorite of the four was definitely the American Dream roll.
My go to Chinese place is temp closed so I got take out here. It was pretty good. The ribs were a little dry but a few in the microwave and they were perfect, and a huge serving. I also got king pao chicken which full of chicken and peanuts but I guess needed more spices or heat, I should've asked. Love the water chestnuts though!
Great food and service! We always go to Eastern Paradise is always a hit never a miss. I will recommend this restaurant.
